The Canucks come into Anaheim to close out the back to back against the Ducks. The game started back and forth with Joshua making a good play to enter the zone. The Canucks would kill the penalty and right after Garland would find Myers right out of the box on a break and he would wind up and fire it past Dostal for his fourth of the year to make it 1-0. The Ducks would rush in a little later and draw a slashing call sending Conor garland to the box and the Ducks to the powerplay. The Ducks wouldn’t set up until halfway through the powerplay and a shot would be deflected out of play. Ducks would get a couple of chances after the draw but nothing would come of it. The Period would run out ith Trouba and Garland going at it. Horrible period for the Canucks they just didn’t come out strong at all.

My Cable glitched out on my computer and I missed the first 6 minutes of the third. The Ducks would control good in the Canucks zone and the Canucks would struggle to do anything. When they would get the puck. Canucks would get something going getting a shot from the blueline that would be stopped by Dostal. Ducks would come out on a break and a one handed sweep would cause trouble but Silovs would make the save. The Ducks would get another chance but Silovs would hold again. Play would continue with the Canucks pulling the goalie but Terry would bury the empty netter for his seventeenth on the year, sealing the game for the Ducks. The game would continue with play just flowing through the ice and nothing of note happening and it would end with the Ducks taking a 5-2 win over the Canucks. Great start but that’s it just not a great game for the Canucks they need to play better.
